Funeral services for Sonya Trapp Wright 64, an office manager of Liddieville, LA will be 2 pm Sunday October 28, 2012 in the chapel of Gill First National Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Perry officiating. Interment will be in South Central Cemetery Wisner, LA. Visitation will be 5 – 8 pm Saturday October 27, 2012 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wright was born August 24, 1948 in Jigger, LA to her parents Aubrey and Eunice Mabel Bellgard Trapp and passed from this life on October 25, 2012 at LSU Heath Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Helen Trapp. Sonja was office manager for Charter Communications in Winnsboro for 20 years; she loved being outdoors with her horses and taking care of her beloved pet Prissy Kitty.
Survivors include her husband R. L. "Junior" Wright of Liddieville, LA; son Jason Wright of Liddieville, LA; daughters Michelle Sikes of Monterey, LA; Melanie Ferrington of Grandberry, TX; grandchildren Montana, Rachel, Roxanne, Jamie and Jeremy; special cousin Martha Ewing of Winnsboro, LA; special sister in law Viola Guice of Winnsboro, LA; special friends Herbert Gene and Vickie Robinson of Winnsboro, LA.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Dale Robbins, Scotty Temple, Randy Temple, Jeff Wright and Todd Wright.
