Dora went to live with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 25, 2012. She was the daughter of David (Nelson) Lumbert and Elizabeth Baughman-Lumbert.

She was married to George Harrington on October 6, 1937. They were married 67 years before George preceded her in death in 2004.

Dora has 45 descendants. She is survived by three children, Ken (Mary) Harrington of Freeport, Norma (Dean-Deceased) Harper of Morley, and Linda Needham of Spring Lake; nine grandchildren, Kevin, Susan, Brenda, Barbara, Don, Dick, David, Sarah and Daniel; 21 great grandchildren, Adrianne, Leah, Kelsey, James, Michael, Amy, Eric, Jessica, Crystal, Katie, Jake, Brandon, Timothy, Joshua, Adam Caleb Harper, David Jr., Jennifer Harper, Nicholas, Jennifer Sells, and Aaron; 13 great-great grandchildren, Paul, Rebecca, Caleb Fate, Jenna, River, Raiden, Jackson, Christopher Dean, Hailey, Lilly, Ada, Elsie, and Allie; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.

Dora was born the fourth child in her family of eleven children. Dora is survived by one sister, Bernice (Ron) Deckard of Missouri and two sisters-in-law, Virginia Lumbert and Alice Lumbert.

Preceding Dora in death were her brothers, Archie, David, Dan, Ray and Nelson Junior; her sisters, Florence Church, Hester Smith, Marie Heinlein and Elsie Saumier.

Dora was a founding member of Faith Bible Baptist Church in Lake Odessa. She enjoyed reading the Bible and caring for her family. She was a loving wife and homemaker with her life- long friend and husband, George.

Funeral services were held Monday, October 29, at Faith Bible Baptist Church, with Rev. Bruce Barker officiating.
