She came to this country on October 29, 1906 with her Husband Adam Karash and her 2 children Henry, Mary and her Husband's Nephew Wladislaw on the ship S.S. Westernland, She settled in Scranton,Penn. Where she lived and had 6 more children; Michael, Sophia, Frank, Leon, Ann and Alexander.She later came to Michigan Where she died in 1962 on April 22. She was laid out at Verheyden Funeral Home and Laid to rest at Mt.Olivet on April 24, 1962.
