Funeral services will be 5 p.m. Friday, August 28, 1992, at the funeral home. The Rev. Donald Burkart will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery at School Hill, in Manitowoc County.
He was born September 6, 1919, to the late Frank and Rose (Wasmer) Schwartz. Walter served in the United States Army during World War II. He married the former Regina Klarkowski on March 5, 1955, in Green Bay. She preceded him in death October 8, 1990. Walter was employed by the Tecumseh Corporation until his retirement when he moved to the Crivitz area. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Crivitz.
Survivors include three sisters and one brother-in-law, Catherine and Joe Hertle, Frances Schwartz, and Betty Fredrick, all of Sheboygan; two brothers, Norbert Schwartz, Nekoosa, Wis., and Harry Schwartz, Ind.; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Herbert Schwartz; and one sister, Caroline Hummus.
Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., Green Bay, from 3-7 p.m. Friday, August 28, 1992. Following the funeral service the visitation will continue until 7 p.m.
