Mrs. Joseph Scharenbroch

Mrs. Joseph Scharenbroch, 64, of Route 1, Kiel, died suddenly early today at her farm home east of School Hill.

Nee Cecelia Schad, she was born Dec. 2, 1888, in the town of Schleswig, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anton Schad. She was married to Joseph Knier in May, 1910.

Following the death of her husband she was married to Josph Scharenbroch in 1919. The couple made their home on a farm near School Hill since their marriage.

Survivors are her husband; five sons, Andrew Scharenbroch of Sheboygan, Lawrence and Paul Scharenbroch at home, Florian Scharenbroch, a student at Platterville State Teacher's college, and the Rev. Aloysius Knier, an army chaplin at Fort Jackson, S. C.; and two daughters, Mrs. Jack Conway of Sheboygan and Mrs. Irvin Vogds of Milwaukee.

She is also survived by two brothers, Aloys Schad of New Holstein and Peter of School Hill; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Anhalt and Mrs. Ambrose Knier of St. Nazianz; and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, with the Rev. Aloysius Knier, a son of the deceased, the celebrant of the solemn requiem high mass at Holy Trinity church in School Hill. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

The body will lie in state at the Kellenbenz Funeral home, St. Nazianz, after 3:30 p.m., Sunday.
