she resided the past 2 ½ weeks.
She is the former Lucille Fischer born Dec. 17, 1910 in the town of Meeme, daughter
of the late Charles and Minnie Quast Fischer. Lucille attended school in the town
of Meeme. On May 2, 1936, Lucille was united in marriage to Arthur Lange in St.
Nazianz. He preceded her in death on Nov. 2, 1996. The couple farmed in the town
of Meeme until their retirement. Lucille was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic
Church, School Hill. She enjoyed knitting and spending time with her grandchildren
and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include one daughter: Sandra (Alois) Riesterer, Newton; five grandchildren:
Pamela (Tom) Reindl, Brian (Shari) Riesterer, Trudel (Peter) Moehring, Lonna (Al)
Lange, Jason (Jerry) Riesterer; nine great-grandchildren: Jolene, Samantha, Isaak,
Eli, Gina, Kevin, Sam, Laura and Nicole. She is further survived by one sister:
Dorothy Deehr, Green Bay; one sister-in-law: Mabel Gumowski, Milwaukee; one brother-
in-law: Alfred “Jerry” Lange, Milwaukee. She was preceded in death by one brother:
Omar; two infant grandchildren and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002 at Holy
Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill, with the Rev. Gregory Coulthard officiating.
Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, Kiel, is assisting the family.
