David R. Kirsch, age 65, of 15706 County Highway X, Kiel, (School Hill), died
unexpectedly Friday morning, Jan. 3, 2003 at his home.
He was born on Aug. 8, 1937 in Sheboygan, son of Helen Binversie Kirsch and the
late Rudolph Kirsch. David was a graduate of Kiel High School, class of 1956.
He farmed in the town of Herman for many years and then worked at M-B Corp. in
Chilton until his retirement in 2002. David was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic
Church, School Hill, and the Kiel Knights of Columbus Council 5539. He was a
former town of Herman board member, a former member of the Ada Fire Department
and former member of the Wisconsin National Guard. He enjoyed going to antique
car shows and was an avid Packer fan. Survivors include his mother: Helen Kirsch
of School Hill; one daughter: Jolene Kirsch of Sheboygan; two brothers: Charles
and Connie Kirsch of Sheboygan; and Daniel and Mary Kirsch of Green Bay. He is
further survived by one niece, six nephews, eight grandnieces and three grand-
nephews. David was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 6, 2003 at Holy Trinity Catholic
Church in School Hill with Deacon James Steffen officiating. Burial in the church
cemetery.
Friends may call at the Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, 815 Sixth St., Kiel,
on Sunday from 2 until 5 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 9 a.m. until the
time of service. A parish wake service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral
home.
