Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 24, 1992, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill with the Rev. Reginald Schrimpf, Pastor, and Deacon Jim Steffen officiating, preceded by brief family rites at 9:45 a.m. at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She is the former Lillian Knier, born July 5, 1927, daughter of the late George and Hildegard Gries Knier. She attended St. Isidore Catholic School in Osman. On June 4, 1947, she married Arno Hickman at St. Isidore Catholic Church, Osman. She did volunteer work at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill for many years. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Christian Women's Society.
Survivors include her husband, Arno; one son, Ronald, at home; two daughters, Mary Beth, at home, Margaret (Andrew) Bonde, Sheboygan Falls; two grandchildren, Evan and Erin; one brother, Kenneth Knier, rural Valders. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jean Marie, one sister, Kathleen Herr, one brother Ronald Knier.
Friends may call at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 1992, and on Thursday from 8 a.m. until the time of services. A wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
A memorial has been established in her name.
