Funeral services will be held Thursday for Mrs. Nicholas Binversie, 83, of School Hill, who died Sunday at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton. The Very Rev. Bernard Binversie, son and the Rev. Reginal Schrimpf, pastor will be celebrants of the requiem Mass at Holy Trinity Catholic church in School Hill.
The former Catherine Koenig was born Aug. 16, 1894, in the town of Meme, a daughter of Peter and Margaret Mueller Koenig. She attended school at St. Nazianz and in the town of Meeme. On Sept. 11, 1917, she was married to Mr. Binversie at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Town of Meeme. The couple located on a farm in the town of Meeme. They observed their 60th wedding anniversary in 1977. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and its Christian Mother’s Society.
Survivors include her husband, seven daughters, Mrs. Edward (Myra) Hanneman of West Allis, Mrs. Pius (Monica) Reinboldt, Mrs. Frank (Agnes) Wiltzius, Mrs. Walter (Patricia) Scharrer and Mrs. John (Cecilia) Smolic, all of Sheboygan, Mrs. Elmer (Joan) Milges of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Kenneth (Elizabeth) Biese of New Holstein; six sons, Alfred, Kiel, the Very Rev. Bernard of Garden city, Texas, Arthur and Theodore, both of Sheboygan, Leander of Wheeling, Ill., and Dominic at home; 61 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Three grandchildren and three brothers preceded her in death.
