WILLIAM BINVERSIE, SR. (d. 1932)

Last Sad Rites On Saturday For Pioneer County Resident
Funeral services were held at School Hill on Saturday for William Benversie(sic), Sr., pioneer farmer of the county, who died Wednesday.

He was born in Centerville in 1859 and was married at the age of 32 to Miss Regina Schuler.
Besides his wife he is survived by ten daughters and five sons and 43 grandchildren. They are: Jos. Benversie, Nic. Benversie, Math. Benversie, Mrs. Alois Schad, Mrs. John Koenig, Mrs. Ed. Mueller, Mrs. Ray Steffen, those at home, Conrad, Gottfried, Helen, Anna and Margaret, Sr. Eulogia of Portageand Josephine of Milwaukee, St. Mary's Convent.

The services at the Holy Trinity church were conducted by the Rev. Father Hertel and the following relatives from away attended the funeral: Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Heinzen and son Ted, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Palecek of Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. John Stiefvater, Mrs. John Griesbach,Mrs. Adeline Brill, Miss Mary Stiefvater, of Manitowoc; Mr. and Mrs. Anton Heinzen, son Norbert and daughters Helen and Irene, Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Heinzen, of Silver Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Steve Stiefvater, son Herbert and daughter Isabelle of Valders; Mr. and Mrs. Gottfried Schuler and sons Herbert and Arno, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schuler and son William, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Schuler, daughters Rose and Marie and son Anthony, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Backhaus of St. Nazianz; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Binsfeld of Brillion; and Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Brunmeier, Mr. and Mrs. Isidore Mayer of Osman; Mrs. Elizabeth
