William "Bill" John Mitzel, Jr., 67 of Vienna, passed away October 23, 2012 at the St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Youngstown.

Bill was born July 25, 1945 in Youngstown, OH, son of William J. and Catherine D. (Carney) Mitzel.
He was retired from Packard Electric in 2004 after 35 years of dedicated service. He was a 1963 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School, a member of the Bloom Hunting Camp and the Young Democratic Club of Snowshoe, PA.

Bill is survived by his wife of twenty nine years, who he married March 26, 1983, Karen (Jones); one son, Robert Mitzel of Liberty Twp; three daughters, Carol Lynn (Vince) Cordy, Dawn Silvers and Denna (Mark) Schneider all of Vienna; four grandchildren, Christine, Vince, Catherine and Faith, three great grandchildren; two brothers Edward Mitzel of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. and Michael (Chrysann) Mitzel of Canfield; three sisters, Catherine Ann (John) Dittmar of Tucson, AZ, Eileen Scullen of Delaware, OH and Jeanne Lowry of Poland. He was preceded in death by a grandson Caleb and his parents.
