COLUMBIANA - Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana for James M. Berry Jr., 62, of 1229 Route 164 who was pronounced dead on arrival Sunday at 2:28 p.m. in the emergency room at Southside Hospital in Youngstown following a heart attack.

Dr. Robert Harmon will officiate. Burial will be in Columbiana Cemetery.

Friends may call today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home where a Masonic service will be held at 9 p.m.

Born Nov. 8, 1927, in Lisbon, he was a son of the late James and Flora (Pannier) Berry Sr.

Mr. Berry, a 1945 graduate of David Anderson High School, moved to Columbiana in 1954, coming from Lisbon. He retired in 1985 from General Motors Lordstown plant where he was employed for 20 years as a stationery engineer. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Columbiana, New Lisbon Masonic Lodge 65 and served with the Navy during the Korean War. He was president of the Columbiana Genealogical Society.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Beede Berry, whom he married April 6, 1951; a daughter, Mrs William (Corinne Susan) Black of Youngstown; two sons, Wayne Keith Berry of Struthers and Master Sgt. Scott Paul Berry with the U.S. Air Force in Clovis, N. M.; two brothers, Karl Dean Berry of Lisbon and Donald Berry of North Lima; and eight grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
