He was employed by Creasey Co., and later by Wetterau Inc. in Williamsport for more than 47 years, retiring in 1992. he was a Protestant. He was a former councilman for the Town of Sharpsburg. He served on the council of Boy Scouts of America Troop 51 and played for the Antietam Red Birds of the Independent Baseball League of Washington County.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lenora D. Wilson Crist; five sons, Rick Crist of Downsville, Michael K. Crist of Boonsboro, Jeffrey L. Crist of Hagerstown, Randall M. Crist of Sharpsburg, and Anthony L. Crist of Keedysville; one sister, Esther L. Lewis of Sharpsburg; one brother, George W. Crist of Sharpsburg; and five grandchildren.
Services were held at Osborne Funeral Home, Williamsport. Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery, Sharpsburg.
