Jim K. Allen, 91, died Saturday, September, 8, 2001, at Pine Crest Nursing Home in Hazlehurst. Visitation is after 3 p.m. today at First Pentecostal Church in Georgetown. Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

Mr. Allen was a native of Georgetown where he was a farmer. He sold produce over Copiah and Lincoln Counties. He was a member of First Pentecostal Church of Georgetown. He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma and a daughter, Regina Sojourner.

Survivors include: sons: James Allen and Daniel Allen, both of Georgetown, and Thomas Allen of Alameda, CA.; daughters: Ethel Hart and Edna Moody, both of Georgetown, Betty Whitten of Orlando, Florida; brothers: John Earl Allen of Georgetown and T. D. Allen of Seattle, WA; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
