Mrs. Marcella R. Moran, daughter of the late Mr. George Jeffries and Mrs. Tura Davis Jeffries, was born Dec. 31, 1928 in Green County and departed this life on July 4 at the Baptist East Hospital in Louisville. She was 59 years, six months, and 14 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church at the time of her death.

She united in marriage to Mr. Silas Nelson Moran on Nov. 11, 1972, who survives. She is also survived by two sisters: Mrs. Alma Moran of Greensburg and Mrs. Sybil Pepper of Campbellsville; four brothers; Mr. Leonard Jeffries of Brandenburg, Mr. Kurtis Jeffries of Greensburg, Mr. Elmos Jeffries of Louisville and Mr. Wayne Jeffries of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral services for Mrs. Marcella R. Moran were conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 16, at the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church with burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
