Elisha Kuhl was a lifelong resident of the Three Bridges vicinity. He died in McKinley Hospital, Trenton, after an illness of about six weeks. He was 70 years of age and worked as a farmer all of his life.

Survived by his widow and seven children: Russell, William, Calvin, Pierson and Edna Kuhl, at home, Mrs. Earl Pierce of Reaville, and Peter Kuhl, of the U. S. Navy.

He was a member of the Knights of Pythias of Flemington.

His obituary was published in the Hunterdon County Democrat on April 24, 1930.
