DORIS L. EDWARDS-
Doris L. Edwards, age 94, of Oakwood passed away Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, at her residence after a brief illness.
Doris was a lifelong member of Oakwood First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Edwards.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Kenny and Debbie Edwards, Chris and Cindy Edwards, Johnny and Gwen Edwards, all of Oakwood; grandchildren, Ginger and Chris Cain, Amy Edwards, Lindsey and Jefferey Smith, Ryan Edwrds, Ashley Brooke Edwards; and great-grandchild, Alex Allen.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday from the Chapel of Little and Davenport Funeral Home with the Rev. Glenn D. Parrish and the Rev. Phil Williams officiating, with burial at Oakwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
