Dwight Forbis, 64, of Waco, passed away Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at his residence. Graveside services will be 4 p.m., Friday, Oct. 26, at Cottonwood Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Daniels officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 25, at Lake Shore Funeral Home in Waco.
James Dwight was born in Paragould, Ark., to the late Frank and Mary Ellen (Hardy) Forbis.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Leon Forbis and Jacob Forbis.
Dwight is survived by his wife of 33 years, Marge; daughters, Kristi Forbis and Holly Ramirez and husband, Mario Jr.; grandchildren, Kendell, Kaleb, Elaine, Kooper and Gabriel; brothers, Ralph Forbis and wife, Willie, and George Forbis and wife, Elizabeth; sister, Maggie Morgan; and many other relatives and numerous friends.
