Ole Bergeson one of the early and worthy settlers of Howard "passed over" the river last Monday, Nov. 25. He died in Chicago while on a visit to a niece. He was an old soldier with an honorable record. His remains were brought back to Story City for funeral services and burial to which city his home had been the past few years.
