Heart Attack Claims Title Service Owner
HASTINGS --- Marion S. "Sandy" Yoder, 54, proprietor of Land Title Service here. Died unexpectedly in a Chattanooga, Tenn., motel yesterday of a heart ailment. He ans his wife, the former Betty Jewell, were returning from a Florida vacation.
Mr. Yoder had suffered previous heart ailments.
He was born in Kalamazoo County, son of Elmer and Rosa (Kline) Yoder, graduated from Vicksburg High School, and was married to his wife in Lagrange, Ind. They lived in Kalamazoo and Jackson before moving to Hastings 14 years ago.
Mr. Yoder was a member of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church of Hastings, and was a former vestryman. He was a former member of the Hastings Rotary Club.
The family residence is at 902 N. Broadway. Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Sandra) Engle of Battle Creek, and a granddaughter.
