Obituary:
Lynn C Bayle, 82, formerly of 915 N. 15th Ave., died Saturday in Yakima Convalescent Nursing Home. He was born April 9, 1903, in Erie, Pa., to Stephen S. and Winona E. (Smith) Bayle. The family moved to Washington, then to North Dakota, where he was reared and educated. He graduated from high school in Lisbon, N.D. He worked in restaurants and for five years was a policeman in Fargo, N.D. On July 7, 1933, he married Larraine Aherin of Lisbon. She died July 11, 1936. On Feb 22, 1937, he married Luella Tisdell. They moved to Washington, settling in the Grandview area. She died on Aug 27, 1963. Mr. Bayle owned and operated several restaurants in the Lower Valley until his retirement in 1968. On July 27, 1968, he married Peggy (Robillard) Simpson. They later moved to Mesa, Ariz., returning to Yakima in 1983. Mr. Bayle served in the National Guard during World War I. He was a charter member of Lower Valley Elks Club No. 2112 and a member of the Moose Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Bayle of Yakima; three sons, Patrick Bayle of Olympia, James Bayle of Casper, Wyo., and Michael Bayle of Auburn; one sister Gladys Rorvik of Yakima; one step-son , John Simpson of Spokane; 12 grandchildren; and two step-grandsons. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Keith & Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel.
