Mrs. W. C. (Bill) Cummings, who came to Wellington around the turn of the century, died Saturday, December 27, in an Austin hospital. She was 81.
Born March 4, 1899 in Enid, Oklahoma, Alice Estella Allen, was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Vol Allen.
She was married to Mr. Cummings May 6, 1920 and they lived in Wellington until 1950, when they moved to Austin.
Survivors are her husband, Bill Cummings of Austin, a daughter, Mrs. Claudia Thuma of Austin; a son, Will Joe Cummings of San Antonio; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
