WELBES in cemetery
Thomas Welden(sic), who lived at the Holy Family Hospital for over twenty years, died last Friday. He was seventy-nine years of age and but for cousins and nephews was alone in the world.
Mr. Welden was born in Germany but came to this country when a child. For many years he acted as a sexton to a brother who was a priest and came with that brother to the hospital here. The brother died a number of years ago. A cousin, Rev. Alphonse Roder at Kiel and a nephew, Rev. Memmers at Bridgewater, South Dakota and another nephew, Dr. Michael Weldon at Gilbertville, Tennessee survive him.
The funeral was held Monday morning from St. Paul's Church. Interment was in the cemetery at Silver Lake.
