Ruben L. Maxwell of Euless, a former Collingsworth man, a retired mechanic for an aircraft factory, died Thursday, Jan. 14, at a Bedford hospital. He was 70. Mr. Maxwell, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. R.O. Maxwell, grew up here and was in the Armed services during World War II. He married Edith Frances of Collingsworth County. They moved to the Ft. Worth area. Survivors include his wife, Edith Maxwell of Euless; three daughters, Ann Moore of Lewisville and Sue Light and Brenda Elridge, both of Calico Rock, Ar.; four brothers, R.V. Maxwell of Wilmer, Jake Maxwell of Wellington, Kenneth Maxwell of Tennessee and H.B. Maxwell of Euless; four sisters, Betty Maxwell of Vernon, Bertha Milligan of Euless, Nell Hanson of Garland and Bessie Simpson of Terrell; six grandchildren; and one greatgrandchild.
