Evelyn T. Biddle Age 83 of Millsboro, DE, formerly of Blackbird, died Tuesday, July 20 at home.
Evelyn was born in Wilmington, DE, daughter of the late Sylvester and Eva Brady Brittingham.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Mary Mother of Peace Church in Millsboro.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Biddle, in 1984; and a son, Francis Alston, who died in August of 2003.
Survivors include her daughter, Kathleen Smith of Millsboro DE; daughter-in-law, Doris Alston of Smyrna DE; 4 grandchildren, David Alston of St. Georges, DE, Lauren Smith of Millsboro, DE, Kara Smith of Clearwater, FL and Dana Smith of Rehoboth Beach, DE; 2 great granddaughters, Kiah Garner and Mackenzie Lewis; and 1 great grandson, Tyler Smith Bradley.
Service will be at 11:30 am on Friday, July 23, at St. Polycarps Catholic Church, 135 Ransom Lane, Smyrna, DE. Friends and relatives may call after 10:30 am on Friday, July 23. Interment will be in Townsend Cemetery, Townsend, DE. Contributions may be made to Oak Orchard Cheer Center, Rt.4, Box 174A, Millsboro, DE 19966.
