CARPENTER-Mrs. Esther Carpenter widow of Robert Carpenter and a sister of the late Nelson McDonald, died Tuesday evening at her home at few miles south of this city. Age 66 years 8 months and 29 days . She had been afflicted with paralysis for some time which probably caused her death. She leaves four children, three sons and one daughter, one of the sons being married. Her only surviving brother is Luke McDonald, of Chestnut Ridge neighborhood.
The funeral services will be conducted at the Beech Grove Church Thursday morning at ten o'clock. Burial in the Bedel Cemetery.
She was a diabetic.
