Vicki (Bowman) Raver was set free and went to live with the Lord and family that passed before her at 1:10 p.m. on Oct. 14, 2012. Her children were by her side. She was born on Dec. 1, 1948 to Marion and Maxine (Tibbits) Bowman in Peru, Indiana.
She had one sister, Cathy and husband Norman Ray who survives and one brother, Mike Bowman waiting at heavens gates. She loved them both very much. She was a wonderful, loving mother of three children, Rena (Roberts) Gardner and husband, David; Jeri (Roberts) Bowman and husband, Brian; and Christal Roberts, all of Peru. She had thirteen grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was very proud of them all.
Two were waiting for her at heavens gates, Daniel, Matthew, Vickianne, Christina, Jimmy, Jennifer, Mark, Rebecca, Nathan, Victoria, Alissa, Jacob, Madison, Hunter, Kameron, Ashlynne, Brooke, Konner, Lucas, Isaiah, Gabby, and Brayden. She had several nieces and nephews that were very special to her.
She loved her pastors and church family especially Pastor Carol Zumwalt (New Life Praise and Worship) and one close friend, Emma Berkheiser.
She touched all of our lives. It will never be the same without her. The Lord, children, and grandchildren were her life. You will be missed but never forgotten. You are in each and every one of our hearts. Keep watching over us. We will see you soon. We all love you. Kiss her for us Lord.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Reyburn Cemetary following the funeral. Officiating will be Pastor Carol Zumwalt and Larry Zumwalt. Memorial contributions: Love offerings may be made to Vicki Raver family through the Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home.
