Thayer - Mrs. Mary Moraign, 92, one of the community's oldest residents and an invalid for the past 15 years, died at about 11 a.m. yesterday at her home here.
She was born March 9, 1855, at Marrnard county, Ill. On Oct. 24, 1872, at Winterset, Ia., she was married to John H. Moraign. His death occurred in August, 1921, a few months after they moved here.
Mrs. Moraign was a member of the Baptist church here.
Survivors are a son, Alonzo, Cherryvale; two daughters, Mrs. Ola Coats, Thayer, and Mrs. Mae Toomey, Vallejo, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Wilson Funeral home here, conducted by the Rev. George Cleland jr., and burial will be in the Thayer cemetery.
