DAVID S. HULL

CANEADEA—David Stanley Hull, 61, of 8367 Vreeland Hill Road died unexpectedly Friday (Aug. 20, 2004) at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo.

Born Feb. 16, 1943, in Cuba, he was a son of Stanley J. and Charlotte M. Lockwood Hull Jr. On Sept. 24, 1961, in Belfast, he married the former Judith J. Nash, who survives.

Mr. Hull lived all his life in the town of Caneadea and was a graduate of Belfast Central School, class of 1961. For a short time, he was employed by the town of Caneadea and from 1964 until 1973 he was a tool and die maker at Motorola Inc. in Arcade. For several years he was a tool and die maker at Ontario Knife in Franklinville. Later he began his own construction business in Caneadea, known as Dave's Construction, operating the business until his retirement in 1981.

He enjoyed repairing and working with heavy equipment, and he loved his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his mother of Caneadea; four sons, Gordon D. Hull of Caneadea, Donald S. (Sheila) Hull of Belfast, Steven C. Hull of Caneadea and William T. Hull, at home; two daughters, JoAnn (Kenneth) Male of Caneadea and Susan J. (Kevin) Parks of Delevan; 10 grandchildren; two step- grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles L. Hull of Belfast; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father and a sister, Ethel M. Hunt.

Private visitations and funeral services were held at the Treusdell Funeral Home, Belfast. The Rev. Grant Appell, pastor of the Delevan Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was in Oramel Cemetery in Caneadea.

Memorials may be made to the Belfast Rescue Squad.
