Born May 29, 1921, in Little Genesee, she was the daughter of Major Francis and Ruth Raymond Lockwood. On April 14, 1940, in Gainesville, she married Stanley J. Hull, who predeceased her Nov. 4, 1987.
Charlotte had grown up on the Lockwood Road in Caneadea and attended the Crawford Creek District School.
She had been employed at Motorola in Arcade for several years, retiring in the early 80's. She, with her husband, had also worked on the family farm.
She attended the Oramel Methodist Church and the Crafty Belles in Belfast. She was a 50 year plus member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 1504 in Belfast.
She enjoyed playing cards. She loved gardening, her houseplants and was an avid collector of many things. Most of all she loved having her family close and doting on all the little ones.
Surviving are a son, Charles L. "Chuck" Hull of Belfast; a daughter-in-law, Judith Hull of Caneadea; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 29 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Harold (Connie) Lockwood of Belmont; a sister, Ellen Guilford of Zephyrhills, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Jane Lockwood of Caneadea; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a daughter and son-in-law, Ethel and Jim Hunt; a son, David Hull; a great-grandson, Ryan Hull; sisters, Athlene, Ethel and Marion; and a brother, James Lockwood.
Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday (Nov. 25, 2018) at the Treusdell Funeral Home, Belfast, where funeral services will be held immediately following at 3 p.m. The Rev. Craig Beulow, pastor of the Caneadea United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Oramel Cemetery, Town of Caneadea.
Memorials may be made to the Belfast American Legion, Post 1505; or the Belfast Ambulance Squad.
