From Swea City Herald:

Robert E. Pehrson, 62, well known Eagle township farmer who had spent his entire life in this community, died Sunday morning, Feb. 1, at his home.

Apparently well, he had served as pallbearer at the funeral Friday of Mrs. Selma Anderson. Death came suddenly Sunday morning as the result of an acute coronary attack.

Robert E. Pehrson was born December 28, 1885, in Eagle township, the oldest child of John E. and Augusta B. Pehrson. Active in church work, he was confirmed in the Zion Lutheran church. A present member of the Immanuel Lutheran church, he was affiliated with the church council and was serving as chairman of the board of administration.

He was married to Nada McNeill on October 16, 1912, and three children were born to the union. The two sons are Vernon of Swea City, and Ray of Indianola, and a daughter, Ardyce, who preceded him in death seven years ago.

Surviving, beside his wife and two sons, are three granddaughters, his mother, Mrs. Augusta B. Pehrson, seven sisters and four brothers, Oscar of Pasadena, Cal.; Bernhard and Mrs. Edna Ponsness of Moorhead, Minn.; Mrs. Esther Hovey of Kenosha, Wis.; Mrs. Emily Udy of Kindred, N.D.; Mrs. Anna Griffith of Algona; Mrs. Alvida Scholtes, Bancroft; Mrs. Berniece Swanson, Fairmont, Minn.; Arthur, Roy and Mrs. Florence Odell of Swea City and many other relatives and friends.
