Funeral services were held on Sunday, September 24 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, Orbisonia with Rev. David Ford officiating. Interment was made at the I.O.O.F. Memorial Cemetery, Broad Top City.
She was born February 21, 1910 in Cromwell Township, Huntingdon County, she was the daughter of the late John and Louise (Hamman) Painter. She was married to Owen S. Stinson who preceded in death July 7, 1980.
Also surviving are the following children: Peggy Ann (Walker) Wilson and husband Lee of RD, Three Springs; Duane Stinson and wife Bonnie of Waynesboro.
Four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive.
Four brothers and four sisters are deceased.
Mrs. Stinson was a member of McKendree United Methodist Church, RD, Three Springs. During her life she was a homemaker.
