Yvonne Ilene (Roby) Coleman, age 56, of Nevada, Missouri, suddenly and sadly departed this life to be an angel in Heaven on Thursday evening, October 18, 2012. She was born May 23, 1956, in Richman, California, to Willard Eugene Roby and Elsie Eilene (Mann) Roby and became the step-daughter of Albert "Shorty" Johnson in August of 1961.

Yvonne moved to El Dorado Springs at a young age and lived her life there until moving to Nevada in 2004. She attended El Dorado Springs High School graduating in 1974. She was saved as a young child at the First Baptist Church in El Dorado Springs.

Yvonne began working as a teenager at Chicken Marys and continued working, sometimes two jobs at a time, until her untimely death when she was employed by Skills Unlimited in Nevada. She had retired from the Nevada Habilitation Center on August 31, 2008, after nearly 29 years of service.

On October 10, 1986, Yvonne married the love of her life, Ben Lowell Coleman. They had one son together, Michael Gene. Bennie accepted Yvonne's daughter Linda Kay as his own, adopting her as a young child and Yvonne became a step-mom to Bennie's two sons, Jerry and Davy.

Yvonne's favorite activities were spending time with her family and friends, working with the disabled which she called her extended family, and her favorite was going to casinos with Downstream. The highlight of her life was when she was able to spend weekends with her grandson Blakey, playing army men, Wii games, watching movies and baking cookies with him. She also enjoyed cooking meals, playing Wii games, and watching movies with her granddaughter Charity.
