Sister Silvana Ulbrich, 93, resident of the Holy Family Convent, Manitowoc, died Saturday, January 30, 1988 at the convent. The former Olive Ulbrich was born October 29, 1894, daughter of the late August and Johanna (Patzner) Ulbrich. She entered the convent in 1912, professing her vows on August 12, 1915. She was a teacher at St. Joseph Parish, Kellnersville and St. James Parish, Cooperstown. Sister retired to the Mother House in 1972.
Survivors include the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity; a brother and sister-in-law, Edmund and Willie Ulbrich, Farmington Hills, Mich.; a brother-in-law, Ed Schmit, Prairie du Chein; two sisters-in-law, Catherine Ulbrich, Farmington Hills, Mich. and Dorothy Ulbrich, San Raphael, Calif.
The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by Rev. Julian C. Resch, O.Praem on Monday at Holy Family Convent Chapel, Manitowoc. Burial was in Holy Family Convent Cemetery.
