Edna Branch, 88, of Pottsville, AR, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock, AR.
The daughter of Edgar and Maxine Bowden, she was born January 29, 1924 in Hector, AR.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Branch; an infant son; her parents; two sisters, Zelma Britton and Billie Jean Jennen; one brother, Burl Bowden; and daughter-in-law, Pat Branch.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved life and lived to its fullest. She was a member of the Hillcrest Pentecostal Church of God. She enjoyed cooking, flower gardening and spending time with her family. She was a faithful woman of God with great Christian values.
Survivors include one daughter, Norma Vaughn and husband Eddie of Russellville; six sons, Bob Branch of Atkins, Bill Branch and wife Brenda of Atkins, William Branch of Russellville, Roger Branch of Pottsville, Gary Branch and wife Vickie of Dover, and Jerry Branch and wife Natasha of Pottsville; 16 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Bratton of Atkins; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Humphrey Chapel. Rev Bob Branch and Rev Sonny Sain will officiate. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville, AR by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M., on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
