Thomas "Rick" Franklin Sizemore, 72, of Rossville passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family. He chose to glorify God at Silverdale Baptist Church and was an active member of the Rossville Lions Club. He served four years in the United States Air Force. He loved going to the Chattanooga Mocs football games, playing golf, but most of all, he enjoyed the family gatherings where he could spend time surrounded by laughter and love.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley Deei Sizemore; son, Todd Sizemore; parents, Roy L. Sizemore, Sr. and Jamie Lee Sizemore; brothers, Roy Sizemore, Jr. and Billy Sizemore.

Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Tim Ellis, Toni and Speedy King, and Tami and Scott Holden; son, Keith Sizemore; grandchildren, Nicole (Jeff) Easterday, Megan (Josh) Moore, Zack (Christina) King, Kelsey Holden, Andrew Holden, and Mandy (Jamie) Jones; two great grandchildren, Sophie Easterday and Tilly Jones; sister, Kay Tinker; two brothers, Robert Sizemore and Eddie L. Sizemore; two very special nieces, Sherry Tate and Lisa Szyjkowski who were also his wonderful caregivers.

The family would like to thank Hutcheson Hospice and would also like to extend a special thank you to these angels, Tonya, Elise, and Donna who helped him so much on his path home and gave him peace.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Reverend Jim Bennett officiating.

Interment will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park with Military Honors. The Rossville Lions Club will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 4-8p.m. and Friday from 12 noon until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
