ALEX FENDERSON, AGED 91 YEARS, DIES IN SACO
Served 50 Years as Overseer in Employ of York Manufacturing Company.
Saco loses another of its oldest citizens in the person of Alexander S. Fenderson, who passed away Friday afternoon at his home, 149 School street, at the age of 90 years, 11 months and 1 day. He was a native of Scarboro but had lived pratically his entire life in Saco. For half a century he was an overseer in the York mills and one of that company's most competent and efficient men. He was also a sexton at the Unitarian church, Saco, for a number of years.
He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Thomas H. Johnson of Saco, and by two sons, James H. Fenderson, former mayor, and Adney J. Fenderson, both of Saco.
