Mr. Earl A. Bannister, 81, passed away April 7, 2003, at his Farmington residence.

Earl was born January 16, 1922, in Cantwell, to the late Clarence Henry Bannister and Lillie Buff Bannister.

Earl was a US AIR FORCE Veteran of WORLD WAR II, a member of Desloge Methodist Church, a member of Farmington ELKS Lodge, a 50-year member of Elvins Ionic Masonic Lodge, St. Louis Moolah Temple, Scottish Rite and Union Local #513.

He was also preceded in death by one son, Thomas Earl Bannister in 1991; one daughter, Linda Bannister Meyer Whitten in 2001; three sisters, Golda Clark, Christine Hardy and Lucy Forshee; one brother, Roy Bannister.

Survivors include his wife, his daughter, daughter-in-law, ; a son-in-law, three sisters, two brothers, four grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation today, 5-9:00 p.m. and resuming Wednesday at 7:00 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. April 9, 2003 at Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Stanley officiating.

Interment at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Farmington.
