Mary Inez was the daughter of Allen Victor and Rose Ella "Hawn" Miller. She preferred to be called Inez instead of Mary. She was married to Francis Marion Mefford, they had no children. They lived at Florida, MO. after Uncle Marion passed away she moved into Monroe City, MO.
The one memory that I have of her is that when she had company, she would excuse herself and go into her bedroom where she had a rocking chair beside the window. She would raise the window a bit and light up a pipe. I remember as a child peeking in the door to see her setting there smoking her pipe.
