Samuel Alleman was born in Wayne
county, Ohio on February 3, 1841
and passed away on May 11, 1903
He served the Union Army as a
volunteer of the 16th Ohio infantry
in Company G.
Mr. Alleman was married to Mary
Carver on January 21, 1866. To this
union was born six sons and one
daughter, all of his sons survive him
his daughter died some years ago.
The family moved to Nemaha County
Kansas in 1872 and from there they
moved to where they reside now in
Marshall County, Kansas in 1890.
