Arthur Watson Alleman, was born at Bath,
Ohio on January 19, 1868 and died at
Lincoln, Nebraska early on Sunday morning
February 24, 1935, at the age of 67 years,
1 month and 5 days.

When he was but three years of age he
came with his parents to Kansas, settling at
Sabetha, Kansas in Nemaha county. Here
they lived till Arthur was about 16, then
they moved to Marshall county, on a farm
between Frankfort,and Blue Rapids, Kansas

On May 22,1905 he was married to Belle
Blake Barnes of Irving, Kansas. After their
marriage, Mr. Alleman continued in the
barber business. During the 22 years that
he worked at that trade in Irving he estab-
lished a large circle of friends with his
pleasing service and his kindly attitude.

In 1922 Mr. Alleman quit the barber trade
and with his family moved to a farm north
of Irving. The following year they moved
to a farm east of Frankfort where they lived
six years. They moved to the Louis Reb
farm southwest of Frankfort, and last year
they moved to a farm near Lincoln, Nebr.
where one of their sons lives.

Survivors include his wife, Belle; two sons
Harold Alleman and Glenn Alleman of
Lincoln, Nebraska. Also surviving are four
brothers, Clark Alleman, Spearfish, South
Dakota, Earl Alleman, Willimington, Calif-
ornia, Verne Alleman, Loups City, Nebr.
and Roy Alleman, Mateetse, Wyoming.
one brother and a sister preceded him in
death.

Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery,
southwest of Frankfort, Kansas.
