Andrew J. Kocher
Andrew J. Kocher died May 3, 2009 at home in Washougal. He was 87.
He was born Aug. 13, 1921, in Camas. He lived in Stevenson for a short time before moving back to Camas. He married Irene Schwartz in 1940 and worked in logging and at the paper mill before working for Pendleton Woolen Mills, where he retired as a department foreman.
He liked mechanics, working on his farm, gardening and collecting rocks.
He is survived by his son, Larry Kocher of Waterloo, Ill.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A wake will be held Monday, May 11, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Straub's Funeral Home in Camas.
