Esther Mae (Fosnocht) Levitz , 93, of Wyomissing, died May 15, 2008. She was formerly of Pottstown, and Florida. Born in Pottstown, she was a daughter of the late William H. Fosnocht and Hannah Breidenbach Fosnocht. Mrs. Levitz was the display director for Levitz Furniture Warehouse and Showroom. She was an avid golfer and former member of Brookside Country Club, Pottstown, and Kings Bay Country Club, Florida. She won several club golf tournaments. Mrs. Levitz was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Pottstown. She was an accomplished embroiderer and a member of the Embroidery Guild of America. Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Daniels, of North Coventry; one stepson, Phillip A. Levitz of Florida; one sister, Anna, wife of Sidney Albright of Boyertown; one brother, Charles Fosnocht, husband of Shirley of Dela; five grandchildren, Judy Shirk, Gregory Burdan, Jill Walker, Andrew Burdan and Melissa Borzick; seven great-grandchildren, Emily Shirk, Ben Shirk, Michael Burdan, Ryan Bristol, and Lillian Randall-Burdan, Jasper Randall-Burdan, and Grace Randall-Burdan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, William Daniels; brother, Harry Fosnocht; sister, Mary McElroy; brother, William Fosnocht, and her grandson, William Daniels Jr. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at the Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown.The Rev. Burlington Latshaw III will officiate. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
