Emerson, manufacturere, banker and political leader, died Saturday night at 11:30 o'clock in the Samaritan hospital, Troy, following an operation performed Thursday. Mrs. Emerson survived her husband by less than three months, A son, Robert Emerson, and two nieces survive. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at Warrensburgh.
