Mrs. Martin Smith
Mrs. Genevieve Elizabeth Smith, wife of Martin Smith of Toddsville, died Friday morning at 4:05 in the Mary Imogene Bassett hospital where she had been a patient three days with bronchial pneumonia. She had also suffered chronic arthritis the last three years.
Born November 7, 1889, in Cooperstown, she was the daughter of Ellsworth and Hattie (Webster) Harvey. Her marriage to Martin Smith took place December 20, 1917.
The husband survives, with one son of a previous marriage, Maynard Beagle of Mohawk, two grandchildren, Robert and Patricia Beagle, also of Mohawk, a sister, Mrs. Ada Stillman of Manchester, N. H. four brothers, Herbert and Douglas Harvey of Cooperstown, Louis Harvey of Toddsville and Harry Harvey of Oneonta, also several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday .... Interment will be in Fly Creek cemetery.
