Mrs. Sarah Crites, aged 85 years, died at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Deal, 199 Wertz avenue, Tuesday evening at 6 o'clock. Her age caused death. The deceased was a widow and has lived in Canton for the past five or six years. She was formerly a resident of Beach City.
She was born in Beaver county Pa., and came to Stark county a number of years ago. She was a member of the United Brethren church in Beach City. Mrs. Crites was the mother of Mrs. J. J. Deal, at whose home she died, and Alfred Crites, both of this city, and B. F. Crites and Thomas J Crites of Beach City. The funeral will take place Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from 199 Wertz avenue. The burial will be in Westlawn cemetery.
