Mr. J. G. Murry, age 81, of Scottsboro, AL, passed away October 18, 2012, at Horizon Health & Rehab Center, Manchester, TN.
Funeral services will be Sunday, October 21, 2012, 3:00 p.m. at Grant Memorial Chapel with William Murry and Richard Talley officiating. Burial will follow in Free Home Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, October 20, 2012, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., and Sunday, October 21, 2012, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Mr. Murry is survived by his wife, Bonnie Murry; step-daughters, Darlene Benson and Rose Baugh; step-sons, Anthony Stapler (Angie), Herman Stapler (Ethel) and Gary Stapler (Carlene); 10 step-grandchildren; 9 step-great-grandchildren; sister, Gladys Webb; brother, William T. Murry; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Ila Murry; brother, Arthur Murry; sisters, Odessa Murry and Judy Bell Murry.
