Elliott J. Badway, 70, of Easton, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2007 in Eastwood Nursing Center, Wilson Borough. Born: July 12, 1936 in Easton, he was a son of the late James and Cowcab Canone Badway. Personal: Elliott was employed as a machine operator for Magnetic Windings, retiring in 1998. He was a graduate of Easton Catholic High School, class of 1954. Elliott served in the Army during World War II. Memberships: He was a member of Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church, Easton. Survivors: A sister, Helen Melhem, of Easton, a brother, Maynard Badway, of Reading and several nieces and nephews. A brother, Joseph Badway, preceded Elliott in death. Services: 9:15 a.m. Tuesday in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Palmer Township, followed by a 10 a.m. Divine Liturgy in the church, 4th and Ferry Streets, Easton. Calling hours will be held Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. with Prayer of the Incense at 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Township. Memorials: May be made to the church, 55 South 4th Street, Easton 18042 in memory of Elliott.
