obit: THE MOHAVE COUNTY MINER, Saturday, July 27, 1895, p. 1, column 3

"Death of One of the Boner Boys
The entire county was shocked to learn of the death of William Boner, which occurred last Saturday night at the Carrow ranch, on the Sandy. William was well known everywhere in Mohave county, and was an upright and conscientious young gentleman. He spent the Fourth of July in Kingman, and few of us could surmise from his general robust and happy appearance that the grim messenger had placed his finger on one of Mohave's noblest sons. It seems that a tooth troubled him some what and finally ulcerated and broke, which may have caused blood poisoning, yet some of his neighbors say that the dread disease, pneumonia, was the cause of his death. Wm. was about 24 years of age, and his aged parents have the condolence of friends everywhere."
