Survivors include two sons, Fred D. Galey of Melbourne, Fla., and Maurice Dale Galey of Fayetteville, N.C.; a brother, Walter E. Galey of Sumter, S.C.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Almeda Watson.
He was a longtime farmer in the Amity area.
